Educator Recruitment
​
Educators are recruited from within our community. They are all different but have in common a love of children and an interest in their development. All Educators have or are working towards a minimum qualification of Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care. All Educators registered with the Scheme have First Aid certificates, and do ongoing child care related training with the Scheme.
A Home Risk Assessment is conducted regularly at the Educator’s home by the Educator and a monthly assessment. These reviews are done regularly to ensure that standards are maintained.
About Family Day Care

Family day care is an approved form of child care that is provided in a family day care Educators own home. Family day care Educators are Early Childhood Education and care professionals, registered with a family day care service. Excell Academy Service is responsible for approving, supporting, training and advising its educators.
Family day care provides a quality Education and care Service that is accessible, flexible and affordable.
Children from 6 weeks to 12 years of age are able to access the service.
Educators are allowed a maximum of 7 children in care, 4 of whom may be under school age. This includes their own who are under 13 years of age.
