What is Family Day Care?

Family Day Care is a child care service where children are cared for in small family groups in the homes of registered educators. These educators are supervised, supported and encouraged by qualified staff. This team is called the Coordination Unit or Scheme. The coordinators in the scheme have a variety of experience and qualifications in Early Childhood Education and Care.

Family Day Care allows for flexibility of hours and location.

Family Day Care can cater for babies, toddlers and preschoolers as well as older children before and after school or pre-school, in an environment similar to which they are accustomed at home. As a family Day Care Educator you have the ability to set your own hours and days of work, supported by not only the Coordination unit but by a team of dedicated Early Childhood professionals.
